Are you a reliable driver looking for a stable, long-term opportunity? DriverSource is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL Company Driver to join our team in Harrisburg, PA .
In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, driving our semi-trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently. You will play a crucial part in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining top-notch vehicle standards and representing our company with excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operations: Transport freight efficiently while strictly adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Equipment Care: Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues immediately, and maintaining truck cleanliness.
- Effective Communication: Coordinate seamlessly with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to ensure accurate delivery schedules.
- Customer Service: Act as a professional representative of our company when interacting with clients at delivery points.
What We Are Looking For
- License: Valid CDL Class A and a solid truck driving track record.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Reliability: Ability to work independently, manage your time efficiently, and problem-solve on the road.
- Background: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to pass a standard background check and drug test.
- Experience: Previous professional driving experience is highly preferred but not strictly required.
