Logistics Management Specialist

Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve in a PALACE Acquire (PAQ) centrally managed role in the Logistics Career Field. It is a developmental position that requires the performance of assignments designed to further develop applicable analytical and evaluative skills and techniques. Overview Salary: $49,960 to $115,213 per year (GS 7). Locations: Peterson AFB, CO; Eglin AFB, FL; MacDill AFB, FL; Robins AFB, GA; Offutt AFB, NE; Wright‑Patterson AFB, OH; Tinker AFB, OK; Lackland AFB, TX; Hill AFB, UT. Remote work not available. Telework not available. Occasional travel may be required. Duties Performs developmental assignments of moderate difficulty where work procedures are established and specific guidelines exist. Independently performs recurring assignments of limited but gradually increasing difficulty and complexity. Participates in special initiatives, studies, and projects. Drafts or prepares a variety of documents including newsletter items, responses to routine inquiries, reports, letters, and other related documents. Conditions of Employment U.S. citizenship required; males must be registered for Selective Service. Permanent Change of Station expenses may be authorized. Employee must maintain current certifications. Security clearance may be required (Secret). Probationary period of one year. Must meet suitability for Federal employment. Must obtain and maintain Life Cycle Logistics Level 1 certification within 24 months. Qualifications You may qualify if you meet one of the following: A. 4‑year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and documented superior academic achievement: upper‑third class standing, GPA 2.95+ (or 3.45+ in major), or membership in a national scholastic honor society. One full year (18 semester hours) of graduate‑level study or a master’s or higher degree in a relevant field (logistics, business administration, public administration). Submit transcripts. C. At least one year of specialized work experience related to acquisition logistics. Experience equivalent to GS‑05 level acceptable. D.
