Job Description

As a Party Chief, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing a variety of surveys including Title, ALTA, Topographic, and As-built Surveys. You will also engage in Surface Modeling and perform Construction Stakeouts while maintaining proficiency with current regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Title Surveys, ALTA Surveys, Topographic Surveys, and As-built Surveys.
• Prepare Surface Modeling.
• Review all survey work.
• Perform Construction Stakeout.
• Maintain proficiency in regulations and standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in land surveying, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and boundary surveys.
• Prior experience in site plan and subdivision land development projects.
• Experience with roadway, grading, drainage, sanitary sewer, and water systems design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Land Desktop or Civil 3D.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of New Jersey State, County, and Local regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with total stations and related surveying equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Understanding of ALTA survey standards.

Work Environment

This role requires working in an office setting five days a week. The company has a longstanding history of over 70 years in the business, offering a stable and professional work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Somerville, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
