Direct Care Worker (DCW)Location: Easton, PA (Northampton County) Company: Familiar Roads Home HealthcareJob SummaryFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is actively seeking compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) to join our team in Easton and throughout Northampton County. As a DCW, you will provide in-home assistance to individuals who need support with personal care and daily living tasks to maintain their health, safety, and independence.Qualifications (Required)Applicants must meet the following Pennsylvania state and agency requirements:Completed Competency Exam or PA-compliant training program per Department of Health (DOH) standardsCurrent CPR CertificationRecent TB Test & Physical Exam (within the past 12 months) — QuantiFERON-TB Gold or equivalent acceptedProof of Pennsylvania Residency for the past two (2) yearsTwo (2) Valid Professional ReferencesClear Criminal Background CheckAbility to speak, read, and write English proficientlyNeat appearance and practices good personal hygieneResponsibilitiesAssist with personal hygiene: bathing, dressing, grooming, and toiletingPrepare meals and assist with feeding as neededPerform light housekeeping tasksAssist with mobility and transfersProvide medication reminders (non-clinical)Monitor and report changes in client conditionBenefitsFlexible scheduling: full-time, part-time, and weekend shiftsBi-Weekly payPaid training and onboardingSupportive, caring team environmentSign-on bonus availableServe UPMC, Keystone First, and PA Health & Wellness clientsEqual Opportunity Employer StatementFamiliar Roads Home Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
