Working with us means working with the latest technologies and groundbreaking, sustainable innovations. Responsibilities Maintain and repair equipment in the field as the Field Service Engineer. Support Atlas Copco Rental's growth strategy as the leader in the steam rental business in North America. Diagnose, repair and install hydronic/boiler systems. Perform combustion analysis. Troubleshoot PLC programs. Lead machinery troubleshooting and document repairs. Replace or repair defective parts. Provide preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting for packaged boiler systems. Disassemble malfunctioning equipment. Apply plumbing and mechanical codes. Qualifications Working knowledge or experience in boilers or HVAC; cross‑training expected for missing areas. Associate degree in engineering or other relevant technical degree, or equivalent work experience. Minimum two (2) years of progressive work experience in a related industry. Good command of English; second language knowledge is a bonus with strong customer focus. High energy levels with the willingness to grow within the business. Intermediate computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft, Excel, workplace systems, business systems, distribution channels and accounting practices. Job Location You will be part of our customer center in Gastonia, NC, joining a dynamic field service team with a hybrid schedule, traveling extensively within the United States.
