Licensure/Certs: Active State Licensure required

Experience: Prior PTA experience preferred

Hourly Pay Rate: $38.86

Pay package discussed upon application

Utilize evidence-based practices to support patient care and clinical interventions

Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatments for patients with physical functioning disorders

Administer procedures such as manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of assistive devices

Assess patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapist to modify treatments accordingly

Document all patient interventions in electronic health records, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards

Communicate effectively with the healthcare team, patients, and their families regarding treatment and progress

Support supervising therapists in obtaining necessary supplies and supportive devices

Supervise and support students under the guidance of the supervising Physical Therapist

Adhere to the APTA and state practice acts, professional ethics, and conduct standards

Active State Licensure as a PTA

Prior clinical experience in long-term care settings preferred

Strong communication and patient-care skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
