About the Position

Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 9 Hours (16:00 - 01:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years required, no first-time travelers License: Active license required Certifications: RDMS AB/OB, RVT Certs required Must-Have: SIEMENS & ACUSON experience required Description: This position requires the ability to work four 9-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday. Experience in ultrasound technology for general, abdomen, OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, small parts, and vascular imaging is necessary. Candidates must be able to perform Doppler studies for both upper and lower extremities. The role covers outpatient and emergency department settings. The technician will be expected to work independently, with access to a radiologist via phone for urgent cases. Experience with PACS and portables is required. The technician will assist in transporting and moving patients in other modalities as needed, as teamwork is essential in the department. Experience with diverse age groups, from pediatrics to geriatrics, is required. Prior experience with Epic charting system is also necessary. Travel experience is mandatory. Candidates must have relevant certifications in ultrasound technology. This role involves interaction with patients and the assessment of various medical conditions.
