Medical Assistant

Job Description We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our growing team as a Medical Assistant in our Meadville, PA office. This position will include all clinical functions in a physician’s office. To include but not limited to: rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, cleaning rooms and equipment between patient visits to maintain infection control. Assisting the physician with treatments maintaining medical information in accordance with all HIPPA laws. filing patient information, answer phones, scheduling patients as needed. maintaining and ordering supplies, restocking rooms obtaining histories and vitals from patients Assist patients as needed from waiting room to preparing for doctor visit (push wheelchair, help remove or apply socks/shoes if patient is unable to). MINIMUM EDUCATION IN THE MEDICAL FIELD, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Preferred graduate of a health program, however medical office experience may be substituted for the educational requirement.
