Travel Physical Therapist - Inpatient LTAC - $2,270 per week

Job Description & Requirements TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Role Overview As a PT, you will evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. You will be responsible for supervising PTAs, supporting staff, billing within facility guidelines, understanding state board rules, interfacing with Medical Center personnel, adapting equipment, and maintaining accurate documentation. Position Details Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply). BLS certification and state-specific licensure. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Key Responsibilities Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting following facility guidelines. Understand and comply with relevant PT board rules and state regulations. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care. Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient’s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks.
