Responsibilities Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Documents patient care provided. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assists patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of patients and/or families and provides appropriate education. Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Associate’s degree in nursing required. Current registered nurse license as required by state regulations. CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred. Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision. Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. CRRN preferred.
