Quick Facts Location: 6800 Scenic Drive, Rowlett, TX 75088 Start Date: 07/23/2026 Duration: Ongoing Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts Hours/Week: Full-time hours Employment Type: Locum / Per diem Licensure/Certifications: TX medical license, Board Certified/Eligible in OB/GYN or related specialty Experience: Prior hospitalist and obstetrics experience preferred, but not required Pay & Benefits Hourly Pay Rate: $214.50/hour (paid weekly via direct deposit) Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule through direct deposit Comprehensive medical insurance (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time according to laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do Manage OB triage, admissions, and deliveries in a hospital setting Provide inpatient obstetric care and attend labor & delivery events Respond to GYN emergencies with ER consults and surgical assistance at cesarean sections Monitor fetal well-being and emergency responses during labor Collaborate with neonatologists, NNPs, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies Cover the OB floor and support private call coverage as needed Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout shifts What You Need Valid Texas medical license with OB/GYN specialization Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN or Maternal-Fetal Medicine Adequate experience in hospital obstetrics and gynecology Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and adaptability Ability to work a 24-hour in-house shift schedule About the Assignment This opportunity takes place at a reputable hospital in Rowlett, TX, partnering with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center.
