Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab RN (CCL) Springfield, Illinois. This role supports the cardiac catheterization lab in an acute care setting, including diagnostic and interventional procedures and procedural sedation administration/monitoring. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts (4x12 or 3x12); minimum 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Active Illinois (IL) license in hand
  • ACLS (American Heart Association) and BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Minimum 1 year of cardiac catheterization lab experience
  • Experience with circulating diagnostic catheterizations (adult), interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, and right heart catheterization
  • Experience with procedural sedation administration/monitoring
  • Ability to interpret/manage dysrhythmias and monitor procedural sedation
  • Cerner experience required
• Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience (position specific)
• Additional Information:
  • Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience is required
  • On-call coverage is required as needed
  • Weekend coverage is required (23 weekends per contract)
  • Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
  • Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs
