Position Overview

We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a school-based team supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade in Santa Maria, CA. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse student population while helping children build the communication skills that support academic achievement, confidence, and long-term success.

The ideal candidate is passionate about student-centered care, enjoys collaborating with educators and families, and is committed to providing high-quality speech and language services in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.

• Provide direct speech-language therapy services in accordance with IEP goals.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, services, and student progress.

• Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

• Participate in IEP meetings and student support planning.

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment strategies as appropriate.

• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, local, and professional standards of practice.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License in the state of assignment.

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state or contract.

• Minimum 1 year of related experience preferred .

• Current CPR certification, if applicable.

• TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray, if applicable.

• Current health certificate, if required.

• Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
