Aircraft Mechanic

Aircraft Mechanic IIIJadin Tech, LLC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic III to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of aircraft airframe and engine systems to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and applicable technical standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive military aviation maintenance experience, including hands-on experience with CH/MH-53E, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, and/or V-22 aircraft (one or more required). This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced flight line environment. This position may require completion of an apprenticeship or FAA-approved Aviation Maintenance Technician program and requires an FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesAircraft Maintenance & TroubleshootingPerform inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of aircraft airframes, engines, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsDiagnose malfunctioning components and determine appropriate corrective actionsRemove, repair, replace, and install aircraft components including control surfaces, landing gear doors, access panels, and rigging systemsTechnical Compliance & DocumentationUtilize technical publications including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Maintenance Instruction Manuals (MIMs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs)Research, interpret, and comply with Technical Directives (TDs) for aircraft and componentsAccurately document all maintenance actions in accordance with regulatory requirementsTools, Equipment & OperationsProperly identify and use hand tools, calibrated equipment, and special support equipmentOperate ground support equipment in accordance with established proceduresInterpret blueprints, schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical dataUnderstand aircraft fluid, gas, hydraulic, and pneumatic system principlesSafety & ComplianceFollow all personal safety procedures and maintain situational awareness on the flight lineWork safely in environments with aircraft, heavy equipment, loud noise, fumes, and outdoor conditionsQuality Assurance & Team CollaborationSelected candidate will serve as a Collateral Duty Quality Assurance Representative (CDQAR)Work collaboratively with supervisors, team leads, and peers in a professional mannerAccept and apply constructive feedback as part of continuous performance improvementMaintenance Types PerformedScheduled, Unscheduled, Special, and Phase Maintenance inspections as directedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (GED) requiredFAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License requiredMinimum of 8 years of aviation maintenance experienceMinimum of 2 years CH-53 experience (USMC MOS 6323 preferred)Experience with at least one of the following aircraft is REQUIRED: CH/MH-53E AH-1Z UH-1Y V-22Clearance RequirementsMust possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security ClearanceMust be eligible for access to government installation and Common Access Card (CAC)Physical Requirements & Work EnvironmentAbility to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders/stairs, and work in confined or elevated spacesFrequent use of hands for tools, equipment, and computer systemsAbility to lift and/or move up to 50 lbsExposure to outdoor weather conditions, loud noise, dust, fumes, and aircraft environmentsMust maintain close, distance, and color vision with depth perceptionAdditional InformationThis job description outlines the general nature and level of work expected and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties.
