Production/Warehouse Associate

Pay: $18.50–$23.50 per hour Shift: Both 1st and 2nd Shift Available

Job Description: We are hiring multiple Production/Warehouse Associates for openings in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. Opportunities are available in warehouse, production, assembly, machine operation, and quality. Candidates will be considered for the position and department that best matches their experience, skills, and shift availability. Employees will be assigned to one primary position/department when hired and will receive training for that role. These are hands-on manufacturing and warehouse positions that require dependable attendance, attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work on your feet throughout the shift.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, count, package, move, and stage materials and finished products
• Load and unload materials and move products to designated locations
• Operate material-handling equipment as trained and authorized
• Follow FIFO inventory procedures and maintain accurate stock locations
• Process shipping orders, returns, and inventory transactions
• Use counting scales, label printers, and basic computer systems

Production Material Handling:

• Supply production areas with materials and components needed to maintain production
• Move, organize, count, and stage materials
• Verify materials and quantities for production
• Complete basic inventory and computer transactions
• Help maintain an organized and efficient production area

Machine Operation:

• Operate production equipment to manufacture and package parts or kits
• Read work orders and verify part numbers, quantities, and specifications
• Set up materials for production runs according to work instructions
• Perform basic quality checks during production
• Complete required production documentation
• Make minor equipment adjustments as trained
• Report equipment or quality problems to the appropriate team lead or supervisor

Assembly:

• Assemble and package parts according to established work instructions
• Maintain an adequate supply of components at the workstation
• Verify parts and quantities for accuracy
• Perform repetitive hands-on assembly work
• Inspect components for obvious defects or quality concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

Quality:

• Inspect products, quantities, labels, and components for accuracy and quality
• Perform dimensional checks using measuring equipment such as calipers
• Assist with incoming material inspections and stock checks
• Identify and separate nonconforming products
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality records
• Complete basic computer transactions related to quality and inventory
• Assist with quality investigations and containment activities as trained

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, machine operation, or quality experience is preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math and counting skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good communication skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability and willingness to learn new processes and equipment
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Strong commitment to safety and quality
• Material-handling, forklift, inventory, or shipping experience is a plus for warehouse openings
• Experience using calipers or other measuring tools is a plus for quality openings

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
• Frequent reaching, grasping, and repetitive hand movements
• Ability to perform repetitive production, assembly, inspection, or material-handling tasks
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to safely work around production and material-handling equipment
• Comfortable working in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment
