Senior Data Modeler

Senior Data Modeler Location: McLean, VA Work Arrangement: Onsite Duration: 12-Month Contract Experience Range: 8-10 years Our client is seeking a Senior Data Modeler with strong experience designing enterprise data models within the mortgage industry. The ideal candidate will bring recent hands-on MongoDB experience, deep knowledge of mortgage data, and the ability to lead data modeling initiatives while partnering with business and technology stakeholders. Responsibilities & Qualifications Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions Develop and optimize SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence Design and maintain data models within MongoDB and enterprise database environments Support data governance, data quality, and enterprise data architecture initiatives Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and promote data modeling best practices Drive architecture discussions and recommend improvements to enterprise data platforms Requirements 8–10 years of experience in data modeling and database design Recent hands-on experience with MongoDB in current or recent roles Strong SQL and database performance optimization experience Recent mortgage domain experience is required Experience supporting Freddie Mac, Client, or similar mortgage organizations is highly preferred Strong understanding of ETL processes, data integration, and enterprise data governance Proven ability to think independently, solve complex problems, and lead technical discussions Strong communication and stakeholder management skills RIT Solutions
