At CountryHouse Council Bluffs, an Agemark Senior Living community, we're looking for a hands-on Maintenance Director who enjoys solving problems, leading by example, and creating a safe, well-maintained environment where residents and team members can thrive.For more than 35 years, Agemark Senior Living has been committed to creating exceptional senior living communities while fostering a workplace where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to grow.What You'll DoLead the Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams while creating a positive, service-focused culture.Maintain the community's buildings, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.Complete preventative maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests.Ensure resident apartments are clean, repaired, and move-in ready.Coordinate vendor services, repairs, and department purchasing.Maintain compliance with OSHA, life safety regulations, fire codes, and other applicable standards.Conduct routine safety inspections, emergency preparedness activities, and fire drills.Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and department documentation.Manage department budgets and ensure projects are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.Assist with transportation and other community needs as required.What We're Looking For• Previous leadership experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field.• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems, and general building maintenance.• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.• A proactive problem-solver who takes pride in delivering quality work.• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.• Experience working with vendors and outside contractors.• Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as needed.• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Why You'll Love Working HereWe believe in taking care of the people who take care of others.
