Government Services Representative

The Government Services Operations Representative is responsible for supporting and executing dedicated government transportation operations across assigned contracts. This role works closely with internal teams, carrier partners, and customer representatives to ensure operational excellence, contract compliance, and consistent service performance. The position plays a key role in contract startup execution, carrier sourcing, pricing support, and ongoing operational management for government transportation services. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, transportation industry knowledge, problem-solving ability, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and support onsite startup execution for newly awarded government transportation contracts, including occasional out-of-state travel. Evaluate and price contract opportunities while assisting with carrier sourcing and network development. Maintain strong relationships with customers, carriers, and operational stakeholders to support service performance and issue resolution. Support day-to-day operations for assigned dedicated government transportation contracts to maintain high service standards. Manage and respond to operational irregularities and service-related documentation within required timelines. Continuously identify and develop reliable carrier partnerships to support operational coverage and growth opportunities. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in the transportation industry in an operations, execution, or brokerage-related role. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in office and travel. Starting salary begins at $50,000 annually, with compensation based on experience. Eligible for a monthly bonus opportunity following successful completion of the training period.
