Job Title

Registered Nurse – Hematology/Oncology (Pediatric)

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Hematology/Oncology unit, including Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) patients in a pediatric setting
• Float as needed between Hematology/Oncology and BMT units, which are located on adjacent floors
• May float to General Pediatrics, PICU, or NICU floors based on unit needs and appropriate skill set
• Administer medications and complete required medication competency testing per facility standards
• Document patient care accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience required
• Pediatric nursing experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• PALS certification (American Heart Association only) required
• APHON certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR preferred
