IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Cullman, Alabama patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The full-time position operates Monday through Friday with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and other analyses
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Provide customer service and administrative support as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from accredited agency
- Three months or more phlebotomy experience
- Ability to pass color blindness test
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable transportation
- COVID-19 vaccination (or approved medical/religious accommodation)
