Qualifications Current California state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) At least one year of school-based OT experience preferred Solid understanding of therapy needs relevant to K-12 students Proficiency in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving Responsibilities Conduct thorough student assessments and interpret findings for educational teams Develop and implement individualized therapy plans Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a K-12 setting Collaborate with teachers, families, and service providers to ensure consistent support Document session notes and progress in accordance with school policies Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress review Adapt strategies and interventions to meet diverse learning and physical needs Benefits Supportive school community with collaborative colleagues Opportunity to positively influence student growth and educational outcomes Full-time, stable work schedule (35 hours/week) Make a genuine impact in the lives of children and families Compensation for this position ranges from $43.86 to $63.86.
