Overtime as required.**Your Tasks:*** To work safely no matter what. Safety is our #1 priority.* Understand blueprints and drawings.* Lay out and install commercial duct work in a wide variety of job settings.* Unload, move, and handle commercial-scale duct work.* Properly finish and seal duct work to pass testing.* Help train apprentices.* Work at heights, from ladders, lifts, or roof.* Assist with installing commercial HVAC equipment.**What We’re Looking For:*** 4+ years of commercial sheet metal installation experience* Journeyman-level training or documented field experience* Strong blueprint reading and layout skills* Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork**You need to be able to;*** Keep it a Drug-free Workplace.* Be punctual and reliable.* Work as a team.* Work in extremes of heat, cold, bad weather, indoors and outdoors.* Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry max of 60 lbs.* Willing to be cross trained in different trades.* Work well in confined spaces.* Work above shoulders, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending.* Exercise motor control, with good vision and excellent hand-eye coordination.**Comfort Systems USA Shoffner is the region's leader in HVACR, Electrical, and Plumbing services.
