Nurse Practitioner

SpineSearch is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join an established orthopedic group with an integrated wellness component in Northern New Jersey.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in musculoskeletal medicine, orthopedic care, and independent patient management. This individual should be confident in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions while developing personalized treatment plans that support long-term recovery, mobility, and overall wellness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, physical examinations, and musculoskeletal assessments.
• Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on pain management, functional improvement, recovery, and overall wellness.
• Evaluate and triage patients based on clinical needs, severity, and acuity.
• Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Provide patient education regarding treatment options, injury prevention, rehabilitation, and long-term musculoskeletal health.
• Support preoperative and postoperative patient care when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow-up care within the EMR system.
• Contribute to the practice's wellness-focused approach by promoting preventive care and overall patient well-being.

Qualifications & Experience

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New Jersey.
• Minimum of 5 years of direct clinical experience in musculoskeletal medicine (MSK) required.
• Strong background in orthopedics, musculoskeletal assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Comprehensive understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy, physiology, and common orthopedic conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to independently evaluate patients, make clinical decisions, and manage treatment plans within the provider's scope of practice.
• Experience in pain management, sports medicine, physical medicine, or wellness-focused care is a plus.
• Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and patient relationship skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while delivering a high level of personalized care.
