Occupational Therapist

Occupational TherapistConducts occupational therapy treatments as per the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Performs ongoing assessment and completes documentation as per DOH Early Intervention Guidelines. Primary Position Responsibilities:Provides developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions.Completes thorough and accurate daily session notes and progress summary.Maintains acceptable levels of patient care productivity.Counsels and educates patient/family/caregiver.Communicates with other essential medical personnel and other providers including other EI providers.Completes all required DOH Early Intervention documentation.Qualifications:Minimum Education: Required: Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field Preferred: Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy Doctoral Degree in Occupational TherapyMinimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): Required: 1-3 years experience: will consider new graduate Preferred: NoneLicense, Registry or Certification: Required: Current New Jersey State-Occupational Therapy License Preferred: NoneKnowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: Required: Pediatric experience; Knowledge of Neuro-developmental and Sensory Integration treatment, typical/atypical child development Preferred: NoneHunterdon Health is committed to providing a competitive benefit package to our employees.
