Body Shop Painter / Automotive Paint Technician – Now Hiring

We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Painter / Automotive Paint Technician to join our growing commercial truck dealership. This role is responsible for preparing vehicles for paint work through sanding, masking, surface prep, and minor body repairs to ensure high-quality finishes and consistent dealership standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Sand, prep, and finish vehicle panels for priming and painting
• Mask and tape panels, trim, windows, and components for paint applications
• Perform minor body repairs, dent repair, and surface correction
• Disassemble and reassemble trucks and components for paint and repair processes
• Assist with equipment maintenance, including cleaning spray guns and tools
• Maintain overall body shop cleanliness, organization, and safety standards
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Body Shop Manager

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required
• Experience with:
  • Primer application and surface prep
  • Single-stage, base coat/clear coat systems
  • Paint tinting, blending, and color matching
• Proficiency with automotive hand tools and power tools (preferred)
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including:
  • Standing for 6–8 hours
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
• Comfortable working in environments with exposure to:
  • Noise, vibration, dust
  • Paints, solvents, chemicals, and cleaning solutions
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 pounds
