Job Title

Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics

Richland, WA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services autonomously within a Level 3 NICU environment
• Support respiratory care needs within a Level 2 regional trauma center
• Float internally between departments as needed based on hospital acuity
• Adapt to variable unit assignments and maintain flexibility with scheduling across departments
• Work every other weekend per collective bargaining agreement
• Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum of 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a Level 3 NICU setting
• Experience working in a Level 2 regional trauma center environment
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel contract experience in respiratory therapy
• Familiarity with NICU protocols and neonatal patient populations
• Experience floating between multiple units or departments in a hospital setting
