About the Position

Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 06:30 - 17:00 Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: ARRT or RCIS Certifications: Must have relevant certification Description: CONTRACT - CATH LAB TECH - 13 WEEKS - 6:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. ON CALL REQUIRED MUST HAVE CATH LAB EXPERIENCE Unit Information: The unit has 3 labs. The staff consists of 3 personnel per procedure. There are 9 staff during the day shift, plus a supervisor. The night shift includes a 3-person call team. Patient ratios are 1:1. The equipment used is Philips. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include standard diagnostic and complex interventional cases. This unit experiences high volume. Candidates must have a sense of urgency due to the busy lab environment. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Additional Information: This department has received recognition for outstanding team performance. The team has the fourth highest engagement score in the entire hospital. It is a great team to work with and has new equipment and technology available.
