Internet Sales ManagerThe Internet Sales Manager oversees the dealership's Internet department, ensuring consistent communication with potential customers and effective lead management.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure all internet, phone, and third-party leads (e.g., AutoTrader, Cars.com, CarGurus) are contacted within dealership response-time standardsMonitor and optimize lead response times, contact rates, appointment-set rates, and show ratesOversee CRM usage (e.g., VinSolutions) to ensure accurate data entry, timely follow-up, and proper lead source trackingDevelop and manage outbound campaigns for sales and service (equity mining, conquest, loyalty, and service-to-sales)Track and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs to dealership leadershipPartner with the Sales and Service Managers to align efforts with inventory, promotions, and monthly goalsHandle escalated customer inquiries and ensure a high standard of customer serviceManage scripts, call flows, and objection-handling processes; update as needed based on performance dataStay current on digital marketing, chat, and texting platforms that feed the BDCOther tasks as needed to assist the Sales teamRequirements2+ years of experience in a dealership, internet sales, or call center leadership roleProven track record of hitting appointment-set and show-rate targetsStrong working knowledge of dealership CRM and lead management toolsExcellent phone presence, coaching ability, and team leadership skillsData-driven mindset with the ability to analyze reports and adjust strategyStrong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environmentAutomotive sales or service background preferredValid driver's license and clean driving record
