Technical Recruiter

Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Technical Recruiter in San Diego, CA Employment Type: Contract Pay rate: $40-$46/hr Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer preparation, and onboarding. Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies. Conduct candidate interviews and evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate and complete employment reference and background checks. Prepare and extend employment offers and negotiate terms when appropriate. Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities. Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Process employee status changes, including promotions, transfers, and terminations. Maintain accurate recruitment records and ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations. May provide guidance, training, and direction to recruiting team members and support staff. Collaborate with leadership to improve recruitment processes and workforce planning initiatives. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 5–8 years of recruiting for technical roles, talent acquisition, or related Human Resources experience. Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, interviewing techniques, and employment practices. Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms. Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills. Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives.
