SJ Mobilita is recruiting an experienced System Analyst / QA Manager for a client supporting a large-scale Medicaid systems implementation.

About the Role

The System Analyst / QA Manager will lead Quality Assurance activities and manage the complete testing lifecycle for a large-scale Medicaid systems environment.

The role will coordinate closely with business teams, external vendors, system integrators, technical teams, and project stakeholders to ensure effective SIT, UAT, and End-to-End (E2E) testing .

The successful candidate will be responsible for test strategy, planning, execution, test data preparation, defect management, reporting, test readiness, and overall QA coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and End-to-End (E2E) Testing activities.
• Support testing across Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES), MMIS modules, and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications .
• Develop test scenarios, test cases and detailed test data.
• Coordinate test execution with business users and technical teams.
• Manage UAT activities and ensure adequate test coverage and traceability.
• Lead defect triage meetings involving multiple vendors, systems and project teams.
• Track defects through resolution and closure.
• Validate data integrity across integrated systems.
• Maintain historical UAT testing information and QA documentation.
• Conduct test readiness reviews and post-test assessments.
• Prepare test execution metrics, test summaries and management reports.
• Identify risks and escalate issues to appropriate project leadership.
• Act as a liaison between developers, business users, vendors and system integrators.
• Facilitate meetings and maintain effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support data conversion and integration testing across multiple Medicaid systems.
• Understand project requirements and technical designs and translate them into effective testing solutions.
• Troubleshoot and support resolution of issues escalated during testing.

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with large-scale Medicaid Member Eligibility Processing Software .
• 10+ years of experience coordinating SIT, UAT and E2E testing activities on large-scale projects.
• 10+ years of experience in:
• Test Scenario Development
• Test Case Creation
• Test Data Preparation
• Test Case Execution
• Defect Tracking
• Testing Metrics & Reporting
• 15+ years of excellent communication and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• 10+ years of Executive/Management Reporting and Presentations.
• 10+ years of Mainframe experience.
• 10+ years of Data Analysis experience.
• 10+ years of Meeting Facilitation experience.
• 10+ years of knowledge of programming logic.
• 10+ years of experience collaborating with vendors, system integrators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Significant experience managing UAT, defect triage and coordination across multiple systems, vendors and teams .
• Strong problem-solving and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven environment with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with Teradata .
• Experience writing or working with Teradata queries .
