High Risk Obstetrical RN - Labor and Delivery - Night Shift

Location: Dallas, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend rotations as required.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse with experience in high-risk obstetrics for our Labor and Delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caring for high-risk patients, including bedside training and experience circulating in C-sections and recovering high acuity patients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to high-risk obstetrical patients in the Labor and Delivery setting.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs using GE fetal monitors.
• Assist in vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and post-delivery recovery care.
• Document patient care activities using Meditech and CPNS documentation systems.
• Participate in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery care.
• Must possess a valid RN license in the state of Texas.
• Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate is preferred.
• Experience in recovering high acuity patients is essential.
