Bronx, New York – Orthopedic Surgeon Job

We are seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join a large multispecialty group in the Bronx. This is a full-time opportunity offering both outpatient and hospital-based responsibilities.

Spanish speaking is preferred, but not required. J1 visa and CONRAD 30 waiver sponsorship available.

Position Highlights

• Full-time opportunity

• Participation in on-call schedule (responsive and timely coverage expected)

• Practice within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system

• Develop and prescribe treatment plans for patients with injuries, disorders, or malformations

• Perform surgical procedures as indicated

• Provide non-surgical treatment options when appropriate

• Conduct and supervise direct patient care

• Participate in disease prevention and health promotion initiatives

• Maintain accurate documentation of symptoms, medications, procedures, and outcomes

• Maintain CME requirements in accordance with board standards

• Participate in medical education and mentorship of clinical staff as appropriate

• Contribute to departmental growth and quality improvement efforts

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

• Active New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)

• Completion of an accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency program

• Strong surgical and clinical decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Competitive annual salary range: $320,000–$350,000
