MUSTANG PARK in CARROLLTON, TX is a post-acute care facility with long-term, short-term, and geriatric services. We are currently seeking a dedicated Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. Key Responsibilities Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards. Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements. Stand and walk regularly throughout the facility and occasionally lift, transfer, and reposition patients and equipment. Physical demands vary throughout the day based on patient care needs. Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care. Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders. Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements. Qualifications Physical Therapist Assistant license is required.
