Responsibilities Managers lead shifts every week to ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Shift Managers perform tasks such as: Planning for each shift Monitoring performance during the shift Taking action to meet McDonald’s standards Monitoring safety, security, and profitability Communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for a great shift Assisting departments to meet their goals Roles & Duties Food Safety Internal Communication Inventory Management Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness Managing Crew Quality Food Production Exceptional Customer Service Safety and Security Scheduling Training Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team players with a flexible schedule and enthusiasm for the fast‑paced McDonald’s environment are sought. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
