\n Position Summary/Department Summary: \n
\n The Division of Allergy and Immunology is seeking a temporary Nurse Practitioner to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients with allergic conditions. This role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, family-centered care to children and adolescents.\n

Key Responsibilities: \n

\n
• Provide direct patient care in the outpatient allergy clinic setting.
\n
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with a variety of allergic conditions, including:\n
  \n
  • Asthma
  \n
  • Non-allergic hives
  \n
  • Food allergies
  \n
  • Environmental allergies
  \n
  • Medication allergies
  \n
  • Eczema
  \n
\n

\n
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
\n
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
\n
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and disease management.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
\n

\n
• Master's degree in Nursing required.
\n

\n
• Minimum of two years of pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience required.
\n
• Allergy experience strongly preferred.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
\n
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n

\n
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) certification required.
\n
• Current Massachusetts APRN license required.
\n
• Current DEA and MCSR licenses required.
\n
• Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers required
\n

\n
• 40 hours: 5 8’s (8AM-5PM), 6 sessions per week.
\n
• Temporary coverage October 2026- April/May 2027.
\n
• This position is based primarily at Boston Children's Hospital's main campus Fegan 6 and 2 Brookline Place.
\n

The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
