Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to support our Human Resources hiring function. This position will partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, develop effective sourcing strategies, identify and screen qualified candidates, and facilitate the interview and selection process.

The Technical Recruiter will manage the recruiting process from initial sourcing through offer extension and requisition closeout. The ideal candidate will have strong technical recruiting experience, excellent communication skills, and deep expertise with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting technologies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand current and future staffing and business needs.
• Advise managers and employees regarding staffing policies and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with developing and writing job descriptions using appropriate technical terminology.
• Research and recommend compensation levels based on job responsibilities, education, experience, and other relevant factors.
• Source, screen, and interview candidates to assess technical skills, qualifications, and overall fit.
• Evaluate candidates’ work history, education, training, technical skills, compensation requirements, and other qualifications.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of candidate knowledge, skills, abilities, interests, assessments, and other selection-related information.
• Recommend qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate interviews, including travel arrangements when necessary.
• Communicate job responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions, company policies, and career opportunities to candidates.
• Assist with pre-employment activities, including reference checks, background checks, and other required screening processes.
• Evaluate recruiting and selection practices through research, follow-up activities, and collaboration with management.
• Represent the company at job fairs, career fairs, campus recruiting events, and community outreach activities.
• Research and recommend strategies to attract qualified candidates for all levels of the organization, including executive and hard-to-fill positions.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary resource for the company’s applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Manage relationships with job posting sites, campus recruiting resources, and other talent acquisition partners.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive candidate and employee information.
• Follow established instructions, procedures, policies, and workflow requirements.
• Escalate issues that may impact workflow, quality, or business operations.
• Demonstrate honesty, integrity, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience.
• Deep experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Demonstrated ability to identify, attract, and source qualified technical candidates.
• Strong candidate screening and interviewing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to build effective relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and internal stakeholders.
• Resourceful, organized, and proactive approach to recruiting.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while meeting business needs.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities simultaneously.
  

Desired Qualifications

• Experience developing and writing technical job descriptions.
• Experience with compensation planning and job pricing.
• Experience recruiting for hard-to-fill and specialized technical positions.
• Experience supporting executive-level recruiting or specialized talent acquisition initiatives.
• Familiarity with job boards, campus recruiting resources, career fairs, and other sourcing channels.
