Position Description

As an Electrical Apprentice, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the supervision of experienced electricians. This entry-level position provides an opportunity to learn essential skills of the electrical trade while supporting daily project operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a team-oriented construction environment.

• Assist electricians with the installation of electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, fixtures, panels, and devices.
• Support the preparation, transport, and organization of materials, tools, and equipment on the job site.
• Learn and adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, tools, and materials.
• Follow directions from supervisors and senior electricians to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Develop a working knowledge of basic electrical concepts, tools, and materials through on-the-job training.
• Assist with testing and troubleshooting electrical systems as directed.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed safely and on schedule.

Position Requirements

Education and/or Work Experience:

• Per the state of Kentucky, applicants must be at least 18 years of age or have a high school diploma.
• Little to no construction experience required.
• Must have or be in the process of obtaining basic hand tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Work may be performed indoors, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions.
• Position requires mobility to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, or move in various positions as job duties demand.
• Work may occasionally be required to move or lift materials and equipment weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
• Must be able to safely use hand and power tools.
