Job Description Opportunity: Physician - Urology Job Details: Provide urology clinic and call coverage, typically 3 to 4 days of call per week Round on approximately 2 to 4 inpatients per shift Respond to consults in a timely manner, averaging 5 to 7 consults per shift See approximately 15 to 20 patient encounters per shift Must be board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Urology or the American Osteopathic Board of Surgery (Urological Surgery) Current PA license or IMLC preferred General Urology experience required; adult patients required, pediatric and neonate experience preferred Ureteroscopy, TRUS biopsies, and incontinence procedures required Preferred skills include advanced endoscopic techniques, laparoscopic surgeries, percutaneous nephrolithotomy, radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit, radical prostatectomy, nephrectomy, prostatectomy, pelvic node dissection, robotic surgery, adrenalectomy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, penile prosthesis, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), renal transplant surgery, and advanced pediatric surgery Lodging arrangements made by the facility Nearest airports include Pittsburgh, Latrobe, or Johnstown Facility: This is a major regional medical center serving as a Level 1 trauma facility, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services to the surrounding community.
