Logistics Inventory Control Supervisor

Logistics Supervisor Location: Onsite – Forest City, Iowa The Impact You’ll Make in this Role Serve as a member of the Forest City Distribution Center Operating Committee and direct supervisor for the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods departments. Determine departmental procedures that set the standards for continuous improvements. Support the warehouse operation in leading improvement activities in the Inventory, Customer Service, and Return Goods areas to maximize output, minimize operation costs, and support a positive work environment. Be a core resource for the implementation of a new enterprise resource planning software at the Forest City Distribution Center. Be willing to be on‑call and support the Inventory Control, Customer Service, and Return Goods core tasks at the Forest City Distribution Center that runs 7 days per week. Your Skills And Expertise Required qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND a minimum of 4 years of Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment. OR High School Diploma/GED AND a minimum of 8 years in Supply Chain Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed: 3 years of leadership experience. Experience leading lean six sigma and/or continuous improvement projects. Proven experience in learning and implementing new systems in operations. Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written format to a variety of audience sizes. Experience with SAP Enterprise Resource Planning system (a plus). Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international travel. Relocation assistance: May be authorized. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Compensation and Benefits Expected compensation range: $96,000 – $132,000 (base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible).
