Overview

Under the direction of the Purchasing Manager, the position is responsible for the processing of orders for various supplies, equipment, and services requested by AHMC Anaheim Regional Medical Center ("ARMC"). Verifies that requisitions have proper administrative approvals and places orders with suppliers. Performs necessary follow-up between departments and vendors to accommodate the needs of ARMC. Performs transactions within ARMC's policies and procedures.


Responsibilities

Qualifications

One to two years experience in a purchasing environment (medical and/or pharmaceutical) preferred.

Requires a thorough understanding of purchasing methods and procedures.

Database and spreadsheet knowledge is essential.
