Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency care to adult and pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during their treatment.Shift DetailsSchedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AMWeekend Requirement: Every other weekendFloating: Possible float to additional facilities as neededResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive emergency medical care to patients with a variety of ailmentsAssess and triage patients effectivelyAdminister medications and treatments in accordance with protocolsCollaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomesMaintain clear and accurate patient recordsQualificationsMust hold a valid RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state/compact state license2 years of general emergency nursing experience required (adult and pediatric)Proficient in CVA management and have experience with electronic health records, specifically EpicBasic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (AHA only)National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications requiredCertifications in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) are preferredMiscellaneous InformationAccommodation for block scheduling may be considered but requires management approval based on unit needs.Local candidates are accepted on a case-by-case basis.Travelers should be prepared for potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November.The facility is allowed to adjust staffing, including calling off shifts, as needed.Client Details City Summerville State SC
