Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patient’s condition (i.e., lab, vitals, signs, and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner. Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians and other providers of clinical findings, and performs nurse‑to‑nurse report at the bedside. Recognizes limits of scope of practice, seeks multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizes appropriate resources, and follows chain of command.
