Radiology Tech (X-Ray) Certified, Part-Time Job Category: Radiology Requisition Number: RADIO003929 Locations: Showing 1 location Main Campus Community Hospital 2351 G Road Grand Junction, CO 81501, USA Application Deadline: Open until June 16, 2026 Responsibilities: Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety. Position patients correctly to obtain the most accurate images and minimize radiation exposure. Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to established protocols and safety standards. Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being and report any adverse reactions. Review images to ensure quality and clarity and collaborate with radiologists to obtain additional views if necessary. Maintain patient records and documentation of procedures performed. Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe work environment. Stay up to date with advances in imaging technology and techniques through continuing education and training. Requirements: Associate's degree required. Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. Requires national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and licensure by the state regulatory agency as applicable. BLS Compensation: $30.00 - $34.50 per hour, depending on education and experience.
