You'll find us putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, while prioritising our colleagues' health, safety and wellbeing.About the Role:Based at Teledyne Chelmsford, CM1 2QU you will be working on a zero hour contract, you will be covering the gatehouse and CCTV room when needed. You'll play a key role in safeguarding sites, responding swiftly to incidents, and delivering a professional service that reassures our clients and upholds Oakpark's standardsYour responsibilities will include:Monitor CCTV systems and utilise surveillance techniques to identify potential security threats.Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary.Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.Document all incidents accurately and report findings to management.Assist in the implementation of loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage.Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with clients, staff, and the public.Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills related to security practices and first aid.Who are we looking for?Previous experience in a security role is preferred but not essential.Knowledge of first aid practices is highly desirable.Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is an advantage.Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.A valid driving licence may be required depending on the location of duties.What You'll BringA passion for security and customer service.Excellent organisational and time-management skills.The right to work in the UK.Apply TodayIf you're ready to bring your skills to a company that values people and places, apply now and start your journey with Vertas. #J-18808-Ljbffr
