Responsibilities
Aiken Physicians Alliance is affiliated with Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273-bed acute care facility offering a comprehensive range of specialties and services. Aiken Physicians Alliance provides dedicated primary and specialty care for you and your family. Our family medicine providers are devoted to treating the whole person and provide comprehensive care for people of all ages. Our specialists are highly trained and experienced and work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide care to patients. Aiken Physicians Alliance offers Primary Care, Cardiology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Pulmonology and Urology Care.
Position Summary
Responsible for daily operations management and supervision of assigned practice(s) in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The practice manager will maintain regulatory compliance and is responsible for maintenance of licenses/certifications, primary source validation, proper credentialing with health system medical staff office and payers. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient practice operations. Manages departmental expenses cost effectively, monitors revenue cycle operations, volume, and revenue generation to ensure practice budgets are met and provider subsidies are kept to a minimum. Participates in annual operating and capital budgeting and provider and employee recruitment and onboarding. Demonstrates service excellence, conveys professionalism, and always maintain appropriate confidentiality. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree required. In lieu of degree, 5-7 years healthcare experience with at least two (2) years being in a supervisor capacity. CMPE certification preferred Work experience: 3-5 years supervisory experience, preferable in a healthcare environment. Knowledge: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, EMR systems Medical and billing terminology and revenue cycle operations Knowledge of healthcare or hospital office settings Service excellence, and recruiting, training, leading and performance management of staff.
