Mathematics Academic Support Specialist

Job Description As a member of the Arts and Sciences division, a full‑time Mathematics Academic Support Specialist assists students in building academic skills and competency in Mathematics. The Specialist engages in one‑on‑one tutoring, workshops, and skill development. The Specialist is housed in the Academic Success Center (ASC) and provides academic support to ensure students develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become successful, independent learners. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of work‑related experience. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field. Regular 40‑hour per week schedule. Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse group of people. Capacity to meet deadlines and work under minimal supervision. Experience leading seminars or workshops on academic topics for colleagues and students. Positive disposition and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
