Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)This is a 13-week contract position.Full-time days and nights, 5x8 per week, including every other weekend and holidays.The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents, ensuring the delivery of age-appropriate care and maintaining clear communication with the healthcare team. The LPN is responsible for adhering to policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). This role requires a good understanding of patient growth and development to provide care tailored to the needs of adult and geriatric patient populations.Collect ongoing data relevant to residents' physical and psychosocial conditions, and communicate findings to RNs and the interdisciplinary team.Contribute to the creation of developmentally appropriate and culturally relevant care plans, involving residents and families in the process.Evaluate resident outcomes and suggest necessary revisions to care plans, indicating the need for referrals as appropriate.Participate in the mentoring and orientation of new staff, maintaining professional standards of nursing practice.Ensure safety and efficacy in nursing care delivery, actively contributing to a healthy and safe environment for residents.Valid New York State LPN Licensure.BLS certification (AHA or RQI specifically).Minimum of 1 year of experience serving in an LPN capacity at a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
