1. A completed EDJOIN classified application 2. Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate, or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date or degree awarded. 3. CA DMV K4 report (dated within 30 days) 4. A valid Class A or B California Driver's License with a Passenger endorsement (P) and a School Bus endorsement (S) 5. A School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by the Department of Motor Vehicles through the California Highway Patrol 6. Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or pass test given by the California Highway Patrol (valid medical card) 7. Proof of registering with Clearinghouse. - Under "Links Related To This Job" click on "Clearinghouse-Registration-Driver.pdf" and follow the instructions to register with Clearinghouse

Possession of: - Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District's insurance carrier. - Possessing the abilities listed above are considered to possess the necessary experience *COPIES OF DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED MUST BE LEGIBLE.

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Standard Red Cross First Aid Certificate or pass test given by the California Highway Patrol (valid medical card))
• DMV Printout (Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by District insurance carrier (MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF CA DMV (H6) DATED WITHIN LAST 30 DAYS )
• Driver's License Copy (Valid Class A or B California Driver's License with a "P" (Passenger) and "S" (School Bus) endorsement)
• Other (Possess a School Bus Driver's Certificate issued by DMV through the California Highway Patrol)
• Paper Application (Verification Clearing House Authorization)
• Proof of HS Graduation (Copy of High School Diploma or GED Certificate, OR BA/AA Diploma or copy of transcripts showing high school graduation date/ degree)

*COPIES OF ALL DRIVER LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE APPLICATION *Prior to employment, all applicants are subject to a fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) and a fee for processing. Authorization of employment will not be granted until the fingerprint clearance from DOJ has been accepted. *CURRENT EMPLOYEES SHALL REMAIN IN A POSITION FOR AT LEAST ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE BEGINNING DATE OF AN INITIAL PROBATION OR PROMOTIONAL PROBATIONARY PERIOD (PER CONTRACT, ARTICLE 15).
