Packaging Testing Technician
$22 - $30 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins seeks a Packaging Testing Technician to conduct transit and package integrity testing per industry standards, manage sample documentation, and prepare test reports. The role involves hands-on testing, data entry, and customer communication in a laboratory environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive and log customer samples in shipping and receiving system
- Conduct transit and package integrity testing according to ASTM, ISTA, or customer protocols
- Record sample information in laboratory inventory management system and generate work orders
- Prepare test evidence reports and maintain testing records
- Communicate test status, updates, and results to customers
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, climb, bend, and reach without restriction
- Knowledge of ASTM standards (desired)
- Production testing or related industry experience (desired)
Compensation: $22/hr–$30/hr depending on qualifications and related experience
