This is not a traditional admissions position. This individual will become one of the most visible ambassadors of our school and will play a critical role in shaping its future.If you are motivated by building relationships, achieving ambitious goals, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young men and their families, we encourage you to apply.Position SummaryThe Director of Admissions & Enrollment is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive enrollment strategy that attracts, enrolls, and retains mission-aligned students and families. Reporting directly to the President, this individual will lead all admissions initiatives while representing La Salle Academy throughout New York City and the surrounding region.Success in this position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, creativity, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to cultivating authentic relationships.What You'll DoRelationship Development & Recruitment•Serve as the primary ambassador for La Salle Academy throughout New York City and the surrounding region.•Develop meaningful relationships with leaders at Catholic, public, charter, independent, and private elementary and middle schools.•Conduct frequent school visits, classroom presentations, parent information sessions, and community outreach events.•Build strong partnerships with principals, guidance counselors, pastors, teachers, coaches, youth organizations, alumni, and community leaders.•Identify new recruitment opportunities and create innovative enrollment pipelines.Enrollment Leadership•Develop and execute a comprehensive admissions and enrollment strategy.•Ability to meet measurable enrollment goals and be accountable for achieving or exceeding them.•Guide families through every stage of the admissions process with professionalism, warmth, and responsiveness.•Coordinate Open Houses, Information Sessions, Student Shadow Days, Entrance Exams, and Accepted Student programs.•Maintain accurate admissions data and provide regular enrollment reports to the President.Marketing & Storytelling•Tell the La Salle story with passion and authenticity.•Partner with Advancement to develop compelling digital and print marketing materials.•Represent La Salle Academy at educational fairs, parish events, athletic events, and community programs.•Utilize social media and community engagement to strengthen the school's visibility.Who You AreThe ideal candidate is:•Highly energetic and enthusiastic.•Self-motivated and accountable.•Competitive in the best sense of the word-you enjoy setting goals and exceeding them.•Comfortable making cold calls and opening new doors.•Willing to spend significant time out in the community rather than behind a desk.•Exceptionally organized and able to manage multiple priorities.•An outstanding communicator who connects naturally with students, parents, educators, alumni, and community partners.•A positive, solutions-oriented professional who enjoys the pursuit of building relationships.•Someone who believes deeply in the mission of La Salle Academy and is excited to share that mission with others every day.QualificationsWe welcome candidates from a variety of professional backgrounds. Experience in school admissions is valued but not required.Ideal backgrounds may include:•Independent or Catholic school admissions•College admissions•Educational leadership•Sales or business development•Nonprofit fundraising or advancement•Community engagement•Marketing and communications•Corporate relationship managementRequirements: •Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.•Demonstrated success building relationships and achieving measurable goals.•Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.•Strong organizational and project management abilities.•Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with leadership.•Willingness to work evenings and weekends during recruitment season.•Commitment to the mission and values of La Salle Academy.Success in This RoleThe successful candidate will:•Increase annual enrollment.•Expand La Salle Academy's visibility throughout New York City and surrounding communities.•Develop new recruitment partnerships every year.•Build lasting relationships with families and community leaders.•Create an admissions experience that reflects the warmth, excellence, and mission of La Salle Academy.CompensationSalary Range: $90,000. – $100,000.
